After years of planning, crowdfunded shared workshop secures its own space
After a four-year journey from a Reddit post to a physical space, Grand River Makerspace opened its doors at 25 N. Park St. in Walker — a community-funded, nonprofit workshop where anyone can access tools like 3D printers, laser cutters, and woodworking equipment they couldn't otherwise afford.
