Hello Maker Community!
As you may have heard by now, the Grand River Makerspace has a new home, and we have some exciting upcoming events to announce.
Sunday August 17th - Community Move-In Event (10am - 2pm)
We have a lot of equipment to move into the space, and we would love your help! This Sunday, we welcome any willing volunteers to come and assist in unloading, setting up machines, assembling workbenches, and helping in plenty of other projects to get the makerspace up and running. We will provide food and drinks as well as great vibes. If you are interested, please fill out the form below so we have an idea of how many to expect!
Saturday September 13th - Grand Opening!
We will officially be opening on September 13th and will be holding a grand opening event on that day. Be on the lookout for more details!
Wednesday September 17th - Community Night at the Makerspace (6pm - 9pm)
As part of Tech Week, we are holding a community night for people to come and check out the space. We’ll have some demo equipment running, tours of the facility, and plenty of time to connect. Whether you’re curious about membership, want to volunteer, or just want to check out what a makerspace is all about, we’d love to see you. EVENT REGISTRATION LINK
