Summer Camps at Grand River Makerspace — Register Now!

Summer is almost here, and we're excited to announce two camps coming to Grand River Makerspace this July. Whether your kid loves building things or getting lost in a fantasy adventure, there's a spot for them.

Maker Camp | Ages 10+ | $195 Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays, 9:00am–1:00pm

Maker Camp is three days of hands-on learning across some of our favorite tools and techniques. Campers will get introduced to CAD software and 3D print their own designs, learn to operate the laser cutter to create custom projects, spend time in the woodshop measuring, cutting, and finishing, and add their own style with paint, glass, resin, and more.

Two sessions available:

  • Week 1: July 7, 8 & 9
  • Week 2: July 21, 22 & 23

D&D Camp | Ages 14+ | $175 Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays, 9:00am–1:00pm

D&D Camp combines tabletop roleplaying with the making side of what we do. Campers will create their own character, join a party, and play through a mini-campaign together — no prior D&D experience needed. Every camper goes home with a custom 3D-printed miniature and a camp shirt, and there's an optional add-on to cast your own set of custom dice.

Two sessions available:

  • Week 1: July 13, 15 & 17
  • Week 2: July 27, 29 & 31

Register for D&D Camp

Both camps are held at Grand River Makerspace, 25 N Park St NW, Walker, MI. Spots are limited for each session, so we'd encourage registering sooner rather than later.
