Black Innovators Event at GRPM

At the start of this month we attended an event at @Grand Rapids Public Museum that featured Black Innovators.
We were there with some 3D printed Hueforge designs featuring 3 black innovators.
1) Lonnie Johnson - Inventor of the Super Soaker which most of us remember from our childhood (we had some 3D printed keychains to give away)
2) Garrett Morgan - invented a three-position traffic signal that included a warning light to stop traffic in all directions. This was a rudimentary version of the modern three-way traffic light
3) Lewis Latimer - invented a method for mass-producing carbon filaments for lightbulbs. This invention made incandescent light bulbs more affordable and practical for consumers
We also had a friend with us, a Unitree Quadriped Robot (robo-dog) that Jake Hall aka The Manufacturing Millenial lets us use from time to time for events
