Who Are the 100 Founders?

The 100 Founders are the people and organizations helping turn Grand River Makerspace from an idea into a permanent community resource.

We’ve set out to launch our space with a capital campaign raising $100,000 in operating funds, provided by generous partners and supporters who give a minimum of $1,000.

These first 100 donors aren’t just contributors — they are foundational partners. Their early belief helps us secure space, equip the shop, and open the doors to makers, students, artists, and entrepreneurs across West Michigan.

Launching a makerspace isn’t just about tools — it’s about sustainability.

• Cover early operating costs while membership grows

The 100 Founders will be recognized permanently as part of Grand River Makerspace history.

• Inclusion in a Founders Gallery inside the space once it is built

• A lasting legacy as one of the people who made the space possible

that Founders Gallery will be hand-crafted by our makers.
